§ Spelled out
Digits, into language.
Short-scale English (US/UK) up to quadrillions, with negatives and decimals supported. No external lookups.
How is a decimal read aloud?
Each fractional digit is named individually after the word "point". 1.25 becomes "one point two five". This matches how readers and dictation systems handle decimals.
How big can the input be?
Up to ~15-digit integers (trillions) are spelled out. Above that, the tool falls back to the digit form to avoid invented number-name territory.
Does it handle currency?
No — output is bare words. Wrap with your currency: `one hundred and twenty-five dollars` or use a localised banking format.
