What you can do

WordInstant is free to use without an account. You can use any tool for personal or commercial projects. You can bookmark tool pages, link to them, and embed screenshots in articles. You do not need to credit us, though we appreciate it.

What you shouldn’t do

• Scrape the tool pages at high volume. They are small, static, and meant to be opened by humans.
• Redistribute the source code as your own product. Feel free to learn from it; don’t re-publish it.
• Use the tools to process material you don’t have the right to process. The tools run locally, which means the responsibility for what you paste is entirely yours.

No warranty

The tools are provided as-is. They work well for the jobs they are designed for, but we make no guarantee of fitness for any particular purpose. If your word count is off by one because a 500,000-word document stuttered, we are sorry, but we are not responsible.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the change.
